I was there last night. They had a decent amount of people at the counter looking at guns and I assume making purchases.... I was promptly greeted/acknowledged when I walked in the door. While patiently waiting my turn in line I observed the big guy (tiny?) thoroughly and patiently explain how to safely handle and load one of their rentals to a husband and wife team there to use the range. The same thorough instruction was also provided to a couple of what appeared to be first time female shooters who showed up with their own gun still in the original factory cardboard box. Range masters were overheard being made aware of new shooters making their way onto the range. (I've witnessed this communication between the counter staff and range staff on numerous occasions prior.) I observed Range Masters offering assistance and further instruction to shooters in need. (This also seems to be the norm based on my own personal experience shooting there). Obviously this troubled individual didn't get the help they so desperately needed and it unfortunate that this business its employees and its customers had to be a part of something like this.

Yeah but only those who work in retail will truly understand this.

Another M-Pro7 user here. I still can't believe a gun cleaning product that is practically odorless and looks like water cleans so well.

Currently have a 17, 19 and 23. Next one will be a G34 Gen 4.

Don't know anything about this company........ Anyone order from them before? If I place an order what are the odds I'll receive these mags vs an email a few days later stating they are on Backorder?

Another vote for the GP100 (stainless). w/ 4-inch barrel. Very well built, great shooting revolvers. I think the Op knows he's going to end up with both a .357 revolver and the .45 auto eventually it just a question of which on he decides to buy first.

I started out as a "long gun guy" with a strong bias towards bolt actions and long range target shooting. Now that I've just recently gotten back into guns again, I have become rather obsessed with handguns and haven't so much as looked at any of my long guns.

Same here. First time ordering ammo from them. Was instock before and after I placed an order. I'm a little annoyed about receiving an email four days later that an item displayed "instock" is actually not available.

I'm extremely pleased with my Gen 4 G17. My experience with my collection of Gen 4 models in general has made me a big fan of the Glock platform. True to their reputation, my Gen 4 17 has been extremely reliable and seems to require very little in terms of maintenance. As far as improving on perfection goes... The only mod I can see making to the gun in the future is swapping out the stock trigger connector for a 4.5LB Glock factory connector. I personally wouldn't want to change the trigger take up or reset but wish the break was just a tad lighter. Sorry, my prior exposure to the glock platform is limited to briefly handling a 1st Gen G17 a while ago. I'm also curious to see for myself Just how much of a design evolution the Gen 4 is from the original and plan on shooting some of the previous Gen guns as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

I have a Gen 4 G17 with just over a 1000 rounds through it and haven't experienced a single malfunction. I purposely waited until I had over 1000 rounds through the gun before cleaning it just to see if I could get it to malfunction... No such luck. I honestly can't see how you can go wrong with the Glock platform or the Gen 4 for that matter. I also own a G19 and G23 Both Gen 4 BTW.

They're probably the same group of people that hate Glocks. LOL

Wow. I remember going to that place quite a bit in the early 90's. My brother got a great deal on a lighty used GP100 there. Do they still have a large inventory of used guns?

I take comfort in the fact that they are strict about uncasing and loading weapons in the ports only. I've been to the "other" range. Real nice setup but I wasn't comfortable with people being able to uncase, handle and load stuff behind me.

Whoa!!! That's nuts! It looks like a lot of time must have been spent on proper and safe handling of a firearm prior to putting it in her hands.

Are you referring to the Monday night Fun shoots?.... I was told that they decided to stop having them due to a lack of interest. I also hope they will decide to bring it back. Perhaps if enough people ask them to they will.
