I am pretty sure the 5-0-5 was only made by ohaus for RCBS. -

Sounds like you have a winner @Heavyoppand I wouldn’t question that. I will continue to use my trusty old RCBS 505 made in USA by Ohaus. Simple and dead accurate every time. -

All depends on the powder. If he is loading with a real fast powder like titegoroup the min and max are really close. I think 9mm is only like +.3 grains from starting to max.. -
Is this still for sale. I know a guy who might be interested not on the forum. Let me know.

I use the rcbs AR series dies for .223 So far no complaints. My other die sets are mostly Hornady Custom grade dies. I also use the lee factory crimp die for all my calibers.

My mantra is use whatever goes bang but I know a lot of people feel differently.

@Zeke now you need to get primers, powder and bullets. A scale, bullet puller, calipers to measure, case gauge and time. Books are so 1970's ...youtube has a ton of good info on your press and how to use it. Hodgdon's has load data for all their powders online. Make sure to ask lots of questions.

Moving back to NJ, FPID still valid?
carl_g replied to NJ870's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
Other than the fact you moved back to NJ, you should be fine. -
I personally buy the whole beans and grind them myself and drip. I am sure getting it already ground would be fine. I would not entertain k-cups but that’s just my opinion.

Well yeah.. AR’s are guns, clays are targets -
Did you ever try a float tube for a pond? We used to use them when lake fishing in Wyoming and they worked really well.

I never tried the apps but I also have a gen 1 and honestly, I find almost all cops in NJ leave the radar on all the time and still use the KA band. The unit works amazingly well and I have never sent it in for firmware updates. For PA only state cops and county sherries are allowed by law to use radar so I don’t have to worry about speed traps at the local level I’d like to check out a Gen 2 to see what it offers.

I shot this the other day out of my window. I kind of screwed up because I had the shutter speed set high and it was getting dark. I had my auto ISO on so it took this at 12800 ISO(which is beyond pushing it IMO) this is from my 20 MP crop sensor d500. So it has a lot of noise but for viewing on a phone or the web I think it is acceptable.

Totally agree. That is the same boat I am in.. The grass is always greener, until the next model comes out LOL!
