Hotdogs were $3.75 and the reloading lady... Lets just say LESS than friendly. All and all better the gun show than house work.

How frequently do you shoot your firearms?
Metalflames replied to Bbott's topic in General Discussion
Right now once a week but with ammo prices and the baby coming hopefully every other week. -
Have ammo prices been really crazy at the last few shows? I am running low and really want to shoot the new SKS. I hope to get there by 2.

What would happen?

Seriously 911... When gun owners call the cops on gun owners from FREE states we have a serious problem. -
Moving a gun safe (looking for rental equip)
Metalflames replied to RubberBullets's topic in General Discussion
Use some 2x4's as a ramp on the stairs it will distribute the weight. Lay it down and use a come-a-long hooked to a 2x4 anchored out the window. Safes are easy. Try moving a Bridgeport and a Southbend up a 50' dirt and gravel driveway on 1-1/4" bars when the forklift dies. -
Midway USA donates $1 million to the NRA

I see it this way the NRA is the only group that has the funds to go against the Obama/Bloomberg super PACs. They need every penny. -
Midway USA donates $1 million to the NRA
Metalflames replied to Metalflames's topic in General Discussion
Thats good advertising. Its only a shame more people in the northeast don't follow it more. -
Just received an email from Midway USA today saying they reached a milestone of 1 million active customers. To thank their customers they decided to donate $1 for every active customer. At 10am this morning they cut a check to the NRA for $1 million. Hell of a nice way to show some support.

How the hell did she find out you sold a gun????? As for the young kids (5-12ish) I would just keep everything out of sight. I would however tell my kids to not to be ashamed of shooting or hunting but not to flaunt it either. Of course this would be closer to their teen years. One of the issues is many gun owners in NJ feel like or believe others perceive they are committing a crime when doing something completely legal. By making it a "secret society" we only feed the fire. Not to mention at some point you may find yourself cleaning your guns intentionally when your daughter has friends over. I sure as hell will.

I thought I read that the SKS'ssss are not C&R because the Chinese will not or do not keep manufacturing info and make it a nightmare to date them. Maybe just Chicom?

You can actually over dose on Vitamin C all though it is next to impossible. That said I have a buddy that fights MMA and is a health freak. He has told me about case studies in Germany were they have fought cancer with next to deadly levels of Vitamin C and it worked. Hell he fights staph infections with only garlic and clears it up faster than the other fighters DR's. Who the hell knows.

Name for my first born son that reflects the times.
Metalflames posted a topic in General Discussion
Ok so my wife and I are having our first child, a son. We are looking for a name. Something that reflects the sentiment of the times and the fight we are all enduring for our freedoms. Something that I can remind him of when he is older and how important it is to never give up and always fight for what you believe in. I know this is a strange and somewhat unusual post but since joining this forum I am amazed and some of the knowledge outside of firearms that exists on this forum. Thought some might have some ideas. My wife hates the name Henry (Patrick Henry) so I'm struggling here. -
Seriously you have only posted regarding USANA and it has all been negative. I will ask again are you one of those whinny anti neighbors? Just because a place may or may not be for sale does not mean the members will get screwed. From all accounts Harbor Site had some serious flaws. All I can say is that the same guy that had the place for 30+ previous years and never had a problem is back running it. I would say if it was how you described it the guy wouldn't waste his time running a not for profit range and dealing with the township to IMPROVE the place. Now how about making a post showing your not a troll. See ya at the meeting tonight!
