  1. Awesome guy! Another +1 here!
  2. Excellent transaction, super nice guy and an excellent transaction. Highly suggested! Thanks for the 15-22.
  3. The M1A is legal and has a detachable magazine and is a higher caliber with significantly more stopping power. Some of this shtuff is absolutely senseless.
  4. Still available at 9:18am, sam with the Rem 500 brick
  5. Halfway through I literally said "What the fu..? Dude are you serious?" he cracked up laughing. Thorough, but weird. I would have worried if he insisted on a rectal exam.
  6. I went to see an endocrinologist for a "glandular" evaluation and was asked about sex with prostitutes, male prostitutes, female prostitutes, animals, condom use, giving oral, receiving oral, lactation fetishes, giving and receiving anal, vaginal, belly buttonal, wearing flip flops, changing my socks, past exposure to stds, type of underwear, sunscreen use, etc... Nothing about firearms. Funny thing, it was a thyroid issue, I didn't know that my apparel and sex life were indications of a thyroid issue. He has a picture of himself with a harvested elk and his bolt action rifle on the wall under his diplomas, so I don't think he cared about firearms. No thyroid issue, turns out I was just chubby from over eating. This is an awesome doc, thanks for posting. I will have it handy next time I visit any doctor for myself or family members. 7. Awesome Wooly! I have converted several heated antis by taking them as well. It is small, but it teaches them 1. To be safe 2. We are safe 3. Knowledge is gained through safe use and understanding, not media pandering and 4. It is a great way to have some fun, make some friends and blow off some steam. Great Job! If you can share what you are working on, I would love to see it and put it to use as well.
  8. Every once in a while ill stick a bottle of that in a random persons cart at a supermarket. I have read this about four times today just for the laugh! Thanks!
  9. Not a single crack about cherry flavored Astra Glide. I am so disappointed in all of you.
  10. Nope. This reminds me of a trick I heard. Buy a cheap starter pistol for $35 online. TSA recognizes them as firearms. Every time you travel, pack it and declare it. They will never lose your bag and it would be first off the plane when you go to baggage claim. Not true my friend. Traveling back from an elk hunt in 2009, the airline and TSA could not locate my coyote brown pelican case with my rifle for over two hours. It was finally located on another bag claim belt on the other side of the terminal. Maybe it has changed in the past 4 years and maybe it was the absolutely LOUSY TSA and Newark Union idiots that work there, but I would be careful and make sure you are aware of who to call in the event of a hiccup. Same happened to a friend of mine with a handgun in Orlando, no one cared at the airport or TSA, though the FBI was all over it. Mine was found, my buddy's wasn't found ever.
  11. Great meeting you. Like I said check out sootch00 and call if you need anything at all!
  12. Stephanie and Kris have kids? There should be a law against that.
  13. I use a combination of products and tools. For solvents/degreasers i use hoppes no.9, gunslick pro's cleaner/degreaser with lubrication (note...there is no lubrication), simple green. nylon brushes, brass brushes, picks, etc... I also use CLP for lubrication or rem oil. I always use a boresnake through the barrel, have multiple chamber brushes for multiple calibers. I have moved away from bore rods (have broken several over the years) and have been using the nylon coated bore cables (like the ones that come with the otis tactical sets). I gave the tapco star swabs a shot and they worked really well to clean the chamber, but they are expensive! if the price were to drop or if i see them on sale, i would pick up more, but at the prices i see them, not worth it. Better off soaking a patch and leaving it in the bore for heavy buildup. I use dust cans (compressed air) to dry off any moisture or to spread any lube around.
  14. Virginia is still safe, for now. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  15. So me and a couple of friends have a side business where we build out various prep kits. We started out with hunter's and outdoor kits for backpackers and hikers and it has gradually grown. We do three levels. First is a small kit for a briefcase or backpack in a condor t&t pouch with a small gerber knife, multi tool (gerber/leatherman), para cord, duct tape, small first aid kit, emergency blanket, whistle, signal mirror, fire kit, first aid, water purification tabs, platypus, contractor bag, and a few other small items. Building this yourself is probably about 150 to 200 bucks. It is small, lightweight, EXPENSIVE, but totally reliable. They then grow in components, size and price. You do get what you pay for and quality does not come cheap.look for quality, trusted brand names and spend the money on it. During sandy and Irene, I had more than a couple of friends suffer major disappointment with the three day 80$ survival backpack. Things I always suggest are coms, first aid (and medication), hygiene, water and fire kits, security and food. This is for get home or bug in. For bug out scenarios, you better be the first to leave or you will be the last on the road. And those Motorola walkies and my Eton radios saved us on more than one occasion during Irene and sandy!
  16. I buy from them all the time and have never had them ask for id. Most recent purchase was in march for Remington 9mm and pmc 5.56.
  17. I was at Silver Eagle in sterling, va on Wednesday night. Beautiful spring night, youth baseball and spring soccer season an the place was packed! I guess it just depends on where you are.
  18. Exactly! I only need the ability to get home in a crisis. For a storm or natural disaster, I have insurance and basic necessities. If there is a crisis big enough, I have what I need in my trunk to get me home, protect myself, keep me warm, fix any bleeds and huff it home on foot.
  19. Scripted nonsense performed by mostly idiots for dramatic effect and ratings. At least the daughter got that yuck mouth fixed.
  20. If any of these suggestions don't work, try to force yourself to vomit or pee your pants, that is always a great deterrent.
