Is a threaded flash hider for a pistol legal in NJ? Picked up an HK with a threaded barrel. I know suppressors are a no-no but the flash hider would be cool.

Took my Henry Big Boy chambered in 357 mag. to Range 14 for the first time. Only shot indoors at 20 yrds before this. Wow!....hitting water bottles at 75 yrds and targets at 200 yrds.....with open sights. Point of aim was right on. Thought in 357 mag it would have dropped at 200 yrds but not at all. Fun times!

Went on Sunday. Some interesting stuff. On the "rusty'" table was a WWI 1911 in not terrible shape. Serial # 572,xxx with crappy aftermarket grips Had some surface rust but not too terrible. I asked if I could take the slide off to inspect the barrel and frame better and was told I couldn't...WTF! Buy a used gun but can't check it out first?

The gun show at the Philadelphia Armory has been cancelled.Their web site says it will return in November. I found this out the hard way!

+1 for Ron...I think most of his used guns are on consignment. I bought an old gun and he called owner with my offer,which he took! Cheyenne Outfitters also has a nice selection of used guns.

picked up a P30 in SA/DA. Ergo was great,trigger not so much. I changed the firing pin block spring and hammer spring to lighter ones. Now the trigger is much better! It lightened trigger pull about 1 1/2 lbs each. Still has long reset, but now I REALLY like this gun!

Been waiting 2 months now for my next batch of permits, Nothing new. This time however my local PD's went to my references house to fill out form and question them. Anyone else have this done? Never heard this before.

i got the lighter firing pin block spring from hkparts. 10lb hammer spring from wolff springs. both springs cost about $15 total plus shipping. easy to change and lowered trigger pull about 1.5lbs doesn't change lenght of pull or lenght of reset,only trigger pull. still I like it better than factory.

Great gun! Only thing I didn't like was the trigger(v3-da/sa). Changed the fpb and hammer spring,now it's awesome.
