in answer to the thread title........theirs. -
gotcha. i was more thinking of the old aircraft mounted 50 cals at 500 rpm. most of the bomber crews used to go for hours with anywhere from 1k to 1500 rounds per gun.....most fighters had about that or less.....so essentially 2 minutes total firing time. it always amazed me that those guys fought with such small amounts and survived. i know they fired bursts....but still......can you imagine being the top turret gunner in a running fight that's lasting for even just 15 minutes?

me being tired, paranoid(although not nearly the ninja level of some in here), and somewhat cynical right now finds it rather strangely coincidental that there is an illness timed so perfectly. that said, if i'm out of place, and there truly is an illness, i apologize, and hope that he gets well.

nj is set to ban lead wheel weights according to one of my suppliers. within the next year. supposedly anyone caught selling them, or even installing what they already had in stock after the ban takes effect are in for fines.

i've just had two vehicles come through the shop with exides. both with bad batteries. both batteries less than 3 years old. i never used to have problems with exides....but 2 bad that close together is weird. also, i didn't mean the batteries side terminals....i meant the cables. corrosion forms inside the insulation. very common on side post batteries.
-
far as i know, you only have to stop if they're already in the crosswalk.
-
depends on the battery. if you got an el cheapo.....autozone, pepboys etc.......you've got something bad inside the battery. i get a LOT of those bad. if it's a side post battery, take the terminals off again, and check inside the insulation surrounding the terminal itself. very often those things will build up ungodly amounts of corrosion, which will prevent the battery from taking a proper charge. if you're anywhere near cherry hill, i can test it for ya.

depending on exactly what you're looking for....there's an aimpoint pro in the market place......
