for those who may want an unmoderated forum, may i make a plug? i don't own it, nor do i run it.....but it is also a private forum, and there is zero moderation. most on there are gun lovers, from all over the country, some le, some military, some rednecks, some brits, a couple guys from austrailia........ if you say i can, i'll plug it. if not, then i won't. and for the record.....i farking LOVE this forum, and can't believe i never found it till lately.

i sure as hell hope so. in theory, my nics wait should be done by this coming friday. i REALLY don't want to go to pick up my gun, and be told i gotta wait ANOTHER 7 days........it's already been nearly seven farking months between p2p, and nics now.........

yea. like i said, bonnie's VERY nice. i like talking to her. i also talked to a det. jim barney. he's not the det. that does these, but he was somewhat helpful, and also VERY friendly. there's another lady whos name begins with b....but i can't remember her name. also very very pleasant. as i mentioned, our pd is very short handed. 10 guys retired, and only 2 new hires. that's bad. 'specially with areas of the town like arborwood. it almost seems like someone wants us to go in with the county pd, but that's a whole 'nother topic.....

this might sound stupid......but "public housing" means? is that you living in an apt? or is it you getting your apt paid for by the govt? if they mean you having your own apt paid for by your own money, then it's bull. if they mean an apt that you're being put in by govt money, then i've got no problem with it, as it's simply a condition of you having that apt. don't like the conditions, then don't take the money.

i asked this specific question when i started the nics check this past friday. i was told that it starts the day i pick up my gun.

i don't support what he's planning either.........but i do support his freedom to do it. what i don't like though, is that what he's planning can effect all of us in a very very bad way.

i understand what they pay......but how do you decide what you want to offer? is it as simple as "i think they'll give you $200 for that, so i'll offer you $300"?

i think i can be there....how many of us are going? i don't see myself using any of my pistol permits there, but i can sure as hell try to rescue a couple long guns? when you gguys go, what do you use as a basis of an offer on any particular long gun?

FARKING FINALLY!!!! called bonnie yesterday. she said the detective was finishing my stuff, and she'd have it typed up for me for today, even though she was going to be on vacation. i called around 1030am, they told me it was done and signed,/ that i could pick it up today or tomorrow before 330pm. i pulled the bay doors down, forwarded my shop phones to my cell phone, and headed down there. so....initial file 12-17-2012. fingerprint 1-9-2013. fpid, and 3 pistol permits 5-22-2013.
