  1. So you've been able to post three different comments this morning, but you can't seem to find the time to expand on your comment here.
  2. OK - so are you going to tell us "the rest of the story", or just keep us in suspense?
  3. The ruling describes two prior criminal incidents. When he was 18, he pleadedguilty to a disorderly person's offenses following an arrest for smoking marijuana, stealing a purse and writing a check to himself for $100, according to the ruling. The second came in 2001, when he was 24. He pleaded guilty to eluding police following a high-speed policepursuit after which he repeatedly refused demands by police to drop a knife he held in his hands, the ruling says. 'I was drinking and I was stupid. I have a lot of pentup aggression,” he told police at the time, according to the ruling. _________ Drugs & drunkenness, with a lot of pent-up aggression. All reasons to deny. The article also seems to imply these incidents occured in Oakland; which means that the Police Chief would likely have personal knowledge of his previous transgressions. I'm no lawyer, but I believe* the Police Chief CAN rely on personal knowledge of the applicant; he does not have to rely upon court records that are now sealed. We all don't know enough about this issue....and I have little trust in reporters. But.....All this means that your past can come back to haunt you.
  4. I didn't know my rights were subject to an opinion poll...

  9. BUT THAT'S WHAT A "RED-FLAG" LAW ****IS****,Greenday! IT WILL BE USED for getting revenge, retribution, or as a negotiating 'tool' during messy divorces. Count on it!
  10. And what if one of your liberal "buddies" felt 'triggered' because you like to go and shoot, and ratted YOU out? How would you feel THEN? THIS is what 'due process' means, Greenday.

CZ shotguns are not Czechoslovakian (like their handguns); they are made for CZ by Huglu in Turkey. I have a CZ side-by-side - the Sharp Tail - also made by Huglu in 12 gauge. Great shotgun. Smokin .50 also shoots a CZ side-by-side; a 20 gauge Ringneck or Bobwhite (I forget which), and has had excellent results with his.
  14. The decline in hunting in NJ mirrors the same incrementalism issues as the steady decline in gun rights. Creeping development over the last 50 years has drastically destroyed habitat and reduced huntable land exponentially. Look around you at all of the development ... the deer/pheasant/rabbit/squirrels that used to live there are GONE and never coming back. Hunters in NJ - now the most densely populated state in the US - have been compressed into smaller and smaller areas and are, in many cases, tripping over each other. This increases the hunting pressure on the game animals; affecting their behavior. Many hunters have left NJ or quit in frustration; reducing the numbers further. This downward spiral is accelerated by the demonification of firearms in general, further reducing the number of hunters in the state.
  15. No, they'd be angry. "I've got Rights!" would be their response

  19. Must be one sick/desperate puppy. All that work for 27 dollars and 37 cents. An honest bit of labor would have netted him more.
