  1. I try them all the time but have never found one that made me go "i gotta have another one of these"
  2. Did you get the update e-mail in August telling you that it's still not in stock?
  3. I have no reloading equipment. I would be wiling to give them to anyone who wanted to meet me at my convienience in the northern Morris county area. I want to keep the boxes though an try and sell them on Ebay.
  4. I found a box of Winchester-Western large rifle primers (k4009p no. 8 1/2-120 in my garage in a box the previous owner left. They are quite old as I have owned the place for 15 years and just got around to looking at the stuff left up in the loft. They appear to have never been wet, just damp from the garage. I know nothing about reloading. Is there any chance that they are still good?
  5. Thanks great image. I have to try that next time i'm shooting landscapes.
  6. I've been waiting for a back order from Midway since January. A bucket of Rem golden bullets for $64. Someday maybe.
  7. Love the color saturation in that photo. Did you "shop" it or did you get that shot the old fashioned way with aperture ans shutter speed?
  8. My buddy brought over a can of Heady-Topper from The Alchemist in Waterbury VT. Great double IPA.
  9. " the problem still exists and nothing has changed." Should be the state motto.
  10. Why not take 81? You can pick it up in Harrisburg PA and you only have to do about 10 miles in MD. I know its a little out of the way but it eliminates the Baltimore and DC traffic so I would bet the net time is the same. There is another thread that discusses this route but I'm not sure of it's title.
  11. Medicare is government health insurance. Just saying.
  12. What documentation do you need to present at the Sheriff's office for a non-resident permit besides your resident permit?
  13. A fellow came in to RTSP tonight with a Magnum Research BFR in .45-70. I was admiring it and he offered to let me take a shot and I couldn't pass on the offer. It was something else. Recoil was about what I would expect in a revolver that weighs 5 lbs loaded with a big game round. I wouldn't want to shoot to many rounds through it because of the pain it can cause, in your wallet. The guy said it costs him about a $1.25 per reload. I have to say it did put a smile on my face. When I went back to shooting my Mark I it felt like a toy.
  14. The Blithering Idiot is excellent.
  15. Everyone calls their home around the lake a camp already so I guess I'm good to go.
  16. It's called a "License to carry a pistol". The restrictions listed on the back are "hunting/sportsmans". The judge gave me a form to sign that states it is good for hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and target. Since I can walk to the lake from my house to go fishing I can carry if I want. Not that I would need it up there.
  17. As long as you spend plenty of time there. I spend about 60 to 80 days a year there. It also depends on what county your property is in. Fulton county where my property is is one of the most 2nd amendment friendly counties in the state. Some counties my not be as cooperative but there is case law ie: Osterweil vs Bartlett which if you have to appeal a denial should get you approved. check out this site http://nyfirearms.com/forums/ to find out info about your counties position on the 2nd amendment. good luck
  18. Frank's Gun Shop in Gloversville NY is like that. Great shop if you're ever in the area.
  19. Not a big enough payout to make it worthwhile.
