  1. As far as coverage, vzw has always been the best for me. Been on vzw for personal cell well over a decade, from early 2000s to last year I carried a company cell as well. Originally nextel, then sprint. I covered the east coast, but spent most of my time in NE from Northern Virginia to Massachusetts area. The nextel was useless, sprint better, but still horrible coverage compared to vzw. I found myself using personal cell on vzw as much or more than the company cell, for work calls.
  2. Empire uses subs as well. Friend from work went through a major headache with them. End result he got his money back, after getting a lawyer involved and signing an agreement with them saying he'd never contact them again. Place mentioned on 130, I had bad experience with, was rude and doesn't understand the definition of "lifetime warranty". I've had positive results from smart carpet.
  3. So I'd order and pay for it online, but have it shipped to Steve, is that how this works?
  4. Burlington two does it on 130 or 541 on a regular basis. Few years ago they had traffic stopped on 130 during rush hour to had out flyer saying school was open. I was on my motorcycle, looked at the cop like WTH you expect me to put your junk mail, he just stood there until I took it and stuffed it in my pocket.
  5. I got there around 10 with the intention of breaking in my new Shield. Was told the pistol lanes were closed for a class, and realistic wait for rifle lane was 3 or 4 hours. I did not wait.
  6. I filled out the form for the pre construction membership specials several months ago. Didn't get any response from that so I emailed them. Did get a response from that, was told information would be coming soon, nothing since. Hope they are still moving forward.
  7. Plus 1 billion. And it's not just the state, depending on the business, you need to deal with the feds, state, county (health dept) and/or local, all of them with their hands out. Unless it's a minority owned business, then the credits/benefits/rule bendings are ample.
  8. Not only that, the infamous Dante even stopped in to say Hi.
  9. Installed a set in my pickup last year. I was expecting them to be a little thicker, time will tell if that will be a problem or not. So far my only regret is not getting them sooner. They make a world of difference keeping the interior cleaner and drier when I'm plowing, really no comparison to others, the high sides are the key.
  10. Not sure what the difference is between the two phone numbers posted. I called the one, a very polite sounding woman answered on second ring, I stated that I was calling to voice my opposition to the proposed law to limit firearm capacity. She said OK, thanked me for the call and that was it. Not sure if it did any good, but was fast, easy, and free. Anyone that thinks it would be a hassle (like I thought it might be, or the person answering the phone would be rude), it's not. Please call!

    Browning 1911 .45

Well now don't I look like an idiot.
  12. Thank you. I will need to see about digging up some of the required info for the SF-180, such as service number, SSN, and service dates.
  13. I'm hoping others have already gone through this and can provide some tips, suggestions, websites, and what not. I'm trying to get information on my Grandfather's time in the Army. Unfortunately I have been unable to locate any documents within the family. Here is what I do know. He served in the Army during WWII and Korea, retiring with a rank of M Sgt. On his tombstone it has his name, home state, rank, and "HQ BTRY, 526 AAA GM, BN CAC"; then WWII, Korea, and his DOB, DOD. I've been told a photo we have of him was taken while he was in Korea. I do not know any other specifics or where he was during WWII. I believe I've deciphered some of the information from his tombstone: Headquarters Battery, 526th Anti Aircraft Artillery, Battilion Coastal Artillery Corps. I have not been able to determine what "GM" means. I'm also at a bit of a loss where to go from here. Are there historians within the Army that the general public has access to which could help with this sort of thing, or is it a matter of finding private historical enthusiasts who would be able to assist? Again, I figure people here may have already gone through what I'm attempting and have suggestions. Edited to add: The other tie in to this site is that I'd like to determine what sidearm he would have been issued. I've been told that with his rank he likely would have had one. TIA Kevin

I see. I had assumed that JMB created/founded the Browning firearms company.

Looking at the Browning website I don't see one. It seems odd to me that the company of The Creator of the 1911 no longer makes one.
  16. So theoretically this could die in the Assembly? Unlikely I know, but I will contact Assembly rep if that's the case. I did state my opinion to my Senator via his website. The only response was the robo-reply that my message was received.
  17. Common. 9mm, but I am partial to American Eagle 147 grain FMJ. I also want to pick up some form of Home Defense ammo. Have not used any of that yet, so open minded. Also some 22, less finicky about brand for that, typically go for CCI though.
  18. I assume that you're referencing the payment of fines. For example, NJ Municipal Court fines (predominantly motor vehicle violations including DWI and related penalties: http://njcourts.judiciary.state.nj.us/njmcdirect/atswepr2/home.do Search of NJ courts site re: payment of penalties (results are PDFs) http://search.judiciary.state.nj.us:83/search?q=penalty+payment&btnG=Search&ie=UTF-8&site=Judiciary_collection&output=xml_no_dtd&client=default_frontend&lr=&proxystylesheet=default_frontend&oe=UTF-8 Woodbridge: http://www.twp.woodbridge.nj.us/Departments/MunicpalCourt/MotorVehicleInformation/PaymentInformation/tabid/728/Default.aspx I did see that some towns will accept a personal check. NJSP will not. So I am forced to pay an additional fee for the money order.
  19. Thanks, I appreciate it!
  20. Money order for the permit, $2 per. NJSP will not accept credit card, cash or personal check. MO only. Criminals are allowed to choose form of payment to pay fines. Law abiding gun owners, being worse than a criminal, do not have that option.
  21. Anyone have first hand experience with this show? Would be looking for ammo and a holster. Would probably cost me $20-30 in gas and tolls, and a lost day to get things checked off of my to do list. Think any savings would be worth it?
  22. Did you try a Jeep dealer?
  23. 9 days!? You're pretty late for a cruel April fool's joke. I dropped off my p2p app at NJSP last week, did the online 212A as well. Little concerned over the Sgt disagreeing with who the money order needed to be made out to. I went by the instruction sheet I picked up at the barracks a few hours earlier. He couldn't figure out why it had the payee listed that it had.
  24. I have jeans from them. Excellent quality. Excellent Customer Service (I needed to do an exchange).
