  1. I stand corrected. I would like to know who the 32000 CCW holders are in NJ. That number cannot be correct.
  2. I may disagree with your statement about PA having more concealed carry permits than Texas. Please post numbers. Texas as of last month had over 860,000 CHL's. Please come to Texas and get your CHL. It is not that hard and you can get it done in a day. Most places here in San Antonio have classes every Saturday.
  3. Moved to Texas. Lower Taxes No State Income Tax Weather is better Castle Doctrine Stand your Ground I now carry everyday Schools are better Housing is way cheaper People here are actually proud of their state. No place is perfect, but this is way better than the PRNJ! BTW...Cowboys still suck, Fly Eagles Fly!
  4. I have the GPS Tactical Backpack. Best bag I have ever owned. Even has it's own raincoat. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CQ8G2EW/?tag=range08-20
  5. Thanks Ty, I did not necessarily mean the LMT barrel but will a 6.5 Creedmore barrel work with an AR.308 or AR10 upper? Sorry I should have been more clear in my question.
  6. Done, Hope Kaya feels better. In our prayers. Nothing better than a good dog!
  7. Ty, I have been thinking about 6.5 Creedmore for my next build. Will that barrel work directly with a .308 upper?
  8. I have Direct TV. Love it. Especially the Sunday Ticket!
  9. Loaded M1A due in spring. Hope it's not priced out of reach. Number one on my list!
  10. I'll send something. Love dogs, but cats are cool too!
  11. You have to be a resident for six months to get the Resident CHL. Took my class and qualifier Saturday. Piece of cake, you shoot. 20 shots at 3 yards, 20 shots at 7 yards. 10 shots at 15. 50 rounds total. The class must be minimum of four hours (shooting don't count). Class was $75.00 CHL is $140. Averaging 7-10 days turnaround. It is tied to your drivers license. No more NICS for me!
  12. Mark, Welcome to Texas! You are welcome to come down to San Antonio to shoot with us anytime! Forchristmas, I walked into the Local gun store picked out a nice Kimber Ultra II CDP for the misses, walked out with it 20 minutes later. My last P2P before I left Jersey took 3 frickin months! And if you want to compare governors, our new Governor Abbot has already went on record publicly stating that he will sign our Open Carry law once it reaches his desk. How refreshing. Another decent forum down here is Texas Gun Talk. Decent bunch of guys.
  13. Best of luck and congratulations on breaking out of the PRNJ. Welcome to America!
  14. I miss SJSC. Probably the only thing I miss about the good ole PRNJ. The ranges down here are a little spartan by comparison, but they do have long distances. Y'all are welcome to come down here and give a 1000 yard range a try! So far I suck at it, but getting better everyday. GB, I am look at a new M1A down here. Hope to have it by springtime. Any thoughts on options?
  15. Wow, I have always had a good time at their matches. Not sure why you would put them down.
  16. Come on down, we got plenty of room here! You can help offset the libtards coming from California!

She's got a glock 17, so she's ok with 9mm. Maybe a little snappy for her in that short barrel though we will see. Appreciate all the feedback from everyone.

Got that worked out. If .45 is too much in the compact, I will take the 45 and get her the same in 9 LOL

Just bought this for my wife as her personal carry. Kimber Ultra Carry II CDP .45 ACP, any thoughts? I know there are a lot of Kimber haters out there, but this thing fits her perfectly.
  20. Hell, my dad would grab the nearest instrument of pain, usually the broom stick or the belt. Didn't have to do it often, but one whack and I knew better! Greatest man I ever knew, taught me respect from day one. Today he would be in jail. SMH, sad world we now live in.
  21. Andy, are you down here in San Antonio? Try Nardi's off of route 10 at W.W. White Road on the southwest side about 20 minutes from Lackland. Great shop, awesome indoor range. Also Alamo Tactical on the northwest side. Great people. My office is on the Kelly AFB side of Lackland. Your kids sound awesome, congrats.
  22. Either way Foles did not complain. He got up, shook it off, and won the game. Don't think Eli would have done that.
