  1. For a company? That’s nothing in debt. Do we know what kind of debt and assets they have? Is it a public company? I can’t look it all up Monday find it is.

  3. This looks like it needs a formal poll
  4. Agreed with American Eagle; I've had the same issues with Aguila .45
  5. .45 and .226/5.53 I hear very differing opinions on IMI ammo. Some say it never gives them issues whereas others say they won't touch it after putting 100 rounds through.
  6. I bought extra. Their range ammo was cheaper than the stuff I buy anyway. I didn't have much range ammo (last went shooting at RTSP and hadn't stocked back up). I used what I brought first and then went through their box.
  7. I went, it was nice, clean and new. Lots of bathrooms, two 25 yd ranges and one 50 yd range. I had the whole place to myself and one rando dude. It cost me 20 for the bay and 20 for ammo. They are light on stock, but that was expected
  8. I was perusing my town's Firearms Applications Procedures and came across this doosey for CCW. I draw your attention to number c. Most of this stuff is fine (although I did not know it was an extra $50) I thought it was odd that they include c since technically you do not need an employment letter of need or (not and) a PI licence. I guess they put etc so you could submit a personal letter for need? Permit to Carry a) Completed Application in Duplicate (you will need THREE ORIGINALS, NO COPIES ACCEPTED) with four (4) photos b) Signed Consent for Mental Health Records Search Form c) Employment letter of need and Private Investigator license, etc. d) Photcopies of past permits, Firearms ID card e) Fingerprints f) $50 Money Order (BLANK) g) Firearms Qualifications Scores, etc
  9. I feel like I am missing something. My mom (in her 60's) can shoot my .45 accurately but can't rack it. This would actually make her more interested in owning and going to the range.
  10. This actually works even better for those of us that want to see CCW. The issuance of CCW in the state is extraordinarily capricious - at best - and possibly breaches equal protection. The latter may be a stretch, but it appears that judges are allowing, even within the same line of business, some to carry and some not to. It just depends on the size of business and likely how close you can get to politicians. Although, I would guess 2A's have already tried equal protection for CCW in the past.
  11. @Ray Ray always keeps one in his. Not sure why though.
  12. That's great. I wish my town would do that. I ended up having 2 expire; partially because I was just being lazy.
  13. I didn't know you were an instructor there! Good to know. Your RO's are great, helped me zero a red dot on my AR. It's a great place. To the OP: Since you are in Morris, I second (or third I'm not counting) going to RTSP. It's a great place to go for your first shoot. They rent guns - and have a good variety - have a great showroom, are very friendly and have a very nice place. It will definitely make you comfortable for your first time. Expect to spend a little money, but that is just the tip for this passion. Guns and ammo cost money, expect to spend it.
  14. In Northern (Morris Co) NJ, where is the best place to get compliance work done? I need a muzzle break pinned and welded. Every time I've contacted RTSP it's weeks to get it done. I know they send it out, so I'm not blaming them, just wondering if anywhere is quicker.
  15. I would also like to know the answer to this.
  16. Reward training is what has worked best for me. We had a GSD a long time ago, and she learned from that. Well, that and also making sure the dog is always beta. They will constantly challenge new members of the "pack" for dominance. You generally want your dog to always be the lowest so they are the least aggressive with family/friends. Just think of the hot dogs as bullets. Every time you did something for your mom and she gave you a box of rounds.
  17. DO IT Edit: Is there a way to film the trip and upload it to youtube? We've got to start a NJGF youtube channel with this cast of characters
  18. There really is no such thing as a dog too old to learn. However, the dog seems to be showing signs of boredom, not enough exercise and stress. It's common for working dogs that are high energy to act that way when they are in a new environment and are not getting enough mental stimulation. Definitely talk to a trainer, but taking in a 2 yo - even if they were trained - can lead to this as the dog gets used to its new environment. Be patient, take a little time to let the dog get used to the family and house, and get help from a trainer. In no time you will see big improvements.
  19. I actually have a few pieces of clothing (jeans and a flannel) that are kevlar lined. It's primarily for riding, but I figure it would probably work really well for hunting.
  20. I used them to pipe a new slop sink in the mud room. They are simple and very easy to use. However, if the hose isn't straight at the fitting it can leak. I had to rout mine around a drain pipe and found that out. Just make sure it's a straight run and you're good. I used PEX with it.
  21. I hope you guys do this again on a Sat morning -- that I'm in town. I'd love to go.
