Sniper 6,372 Posted March 15, 2021 Last update I heard an hour ago, Parkway still closed both ways at Mile Marker 90 (Route 70 area), and fire is only 40% contained.

How about because there was no snow "down there", and limited rain the past few weeks, along with low humidity and high winds? Amazing how fires happen in those conditions.... It must be Trump's fault...
GRIZ 3,369 Posted March 15, 2021 I was up in the area yesterday. The smoke was so bad that they also closed Route 70 as it obscured vision.

Current data suggests southern NJ is experiencing normal to increased precipitation for the year. No drought conditions listed.. I would expect a large fire this year every year if the conditions alone were to blame... So yes, it must be Trumps fault..
