Flash Hider on a pistol?

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking of ordering a flash hider for my HK45, as the threaded barrel is just sitting there all inviting. Is this a No-no in NJ? Or is that just for rifles?

I thought a treaded barrel was illegal. It has to be "permanently fixed". And you could not disassemble the barrel to take it apart. Flash Hider don

Even the P22's barrel is threaded. It has a nut on the end to protect the threads, but take the nut off and the barrel threads are right there. There are suppressor kits (real and fake) designed for the P22 that come with the necessary thread adapter. I've heard of people putting the fake suppressor on to add a little weight to the front of the gun (and make it look way cool?), but I just don't get it.
