My dog has about 15 stitches in his face after he was attacked by a wild animal on the beach by our house. My father was walking him and he stuck his nose into a bush and he came out a bloody mess.

 

We got the same rabies letter. And $1000 vet bill.

My wife and I have encountered raccoons that might have been rabid twice: once in Griggstown a few years ago and once in Monmouth Junction a couple of weeks ago. In both cases they were out in daylight and acting unafraid. The one in Monmouth Junction actually chased us.

Yeah that's scary stuff no joke, I'd hate to get bit by one of those
