filed sight down and redrilled front sight to mark. Using jig paint for mark.

 

This is the front sight the smith from taurus adjusted, :roll:

 

will see what this adjustment yields and then off with the rear sight.

140 deg, i use wonder blue.

no, the site is low as it can go with leaving a dot. next will be the rear sight.

googled it, must be Blue Wonder Gun Blue? Only asking because I don't want to start with one of those "rotten egg" products and I'm cheap, so many of my guns are well used and could use some touchups. I'm actually thinking of duracoating the Mossberg I picked up.
