lunker 274 Posted February 5, 2010 I have bought two Glocks from these guys and found them to be reputable. Their used P225s are on sale. http://www.topgunsupply.com/sig-sauer-p225-handguns/
rscalzo 3 Posted February 6, 2010 While the price may be cheap, there are a few concerns. The heel magazine release is not favored over here and as such were the first produced and issued. In addition, parts are scace and in the case of a needed repair you may very well be out of luck. But for the price the deal is decent.
rauchman 3 Posted February 8, 2010 Are these P6's or P225's? I understood the P6's to have the Euro type mag release at the bottom of the grip, and the P225's to have the American styled mag release just behind the trigger guard. I had picked up a P225 some years ago based on glowing reports from the Sig Forum. It felt great in the hand, but I couldn't shoot it well at all. I also have a W German P226 that I love, but the P225 just didn't work for me.
lunker 274 Posted February 8, 2010 Are these P6's or P225's? Here are the descriptions I got it on my e-mail: Next we have Sig Sauer P225's that were recently imported from Germany. These P225's are not P6's. They are trade-ins from the Zurich Switzerland Police. All of them bear the Swiss shield stamp on the slide and most were manufactured in Montage Switzerland and bear the "Montage Suisse" marking. They come with various sight configurations, but the ones with night sights are mostly dead due to the age of the pistols. These feature the somewhat rare European heel magazine release and come with one factory 8RD magazine. The PW Arms import mark is tastefully done on the steel slide. Very Good Grade: $439.95 Good Grade: $399.95 Fair Grade: $369.95 http://www.topgunsupply.com/sig-sauer-p225-handguns/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Finally, the highly sought after P228's from the Zurich Police. These are very nice old school stamped slide P228's that were manufactured in Germany. Most of the night sights are dim at best and come in a variety of Swiss markings. Some also have Hogue rubber grips that were changed by the Zurich PD armorers. Comes with two 13RD magazines. All in all, a very nice batch of guns! Note: For our California customers, we are substituting one brand new 10RD factory magazine for the two 13RD used magazines. Very Good Grade: $529.95 Good Grade: $479.95 Fair Grade: $449.95 http://www.topgunsupply.com/handguns-sig-sauer_p228/
JonF 79 Posted February 9, 2010 I still kick myself in the ass not once but two times for missing out on the P6's that places like AIM and JG had 1 or 2 years ago. Sweet guns in VG condition with two mags, box and holster for $280. They got a batch in a few months after those ran out but the price went up $100 minimum after that! *kicks self*
axeman_g 128 Posted February 9, 2010 I have a P6 and while I put it up FS recently, i do love it. I decided not to sell it. The only issues with these guns are the lack of magazines, but maybe TopGun just got a bunch of used extras in. The 225s are nicer finished, and have better triggers then the WG P6, they do not put the 19# mainspring in the 225. It seems the Swiss trust their cops to know what they are doin.... Funny, borderline socialist country produces the SAFE P6. Extreme right, free country uses the mainstream 225. Hmmmmm......
