1911 Trigger Question

Can I take the trigger out of my full size kimber and put that trigger in my full size smith & wesson?

If they are both 1911's i would say yes and they may need adjustment, i would purchase another trigger before taking one out of the kinmber.

The trigger on my smith is a little 'wiggly' while the kimber is tight.

Since I am using smith as my primary comp firearm, I want the tight trigger...

I agree why mess with a good 1911 and maybe end up with two bad ones.

Just buy a new trigger or have a smith adjust the sloppy one.

Or buy another 1911 all together.

I would just put a new trigger in the Smith. How many rounds through it?

not many, its about 300 rounds deep.

 

I have like 6 1911's so I was just getting curious due to being snowed in and started ripping 1911's apart for through cleaning...
