Scoped SKS Part II

You guys are quite helpfull. I am gonna have to push my luck and ask for more.

 

I saw some iron sight mods (peep with fiber optic in front). Also saw a scope mount that replaces the standard iron sight.

 

The question is legality. This kinda stuff legal? The SKS is Norinco with the blade bayonet.

NJ state law says as long as you dont have a detatchable magazine or fixed magazine above 15 rounds. Your sights should be fine both replacing the rear iron and or installing front fiber optic. This is my Chinese SKS's.

There are no restrictions, local, state or federal, regarding scopes and scope mounts.

 

That said, does your SKS have an East Bloc side rail? If so, I highly recommend using a proper Soviet style scope. I have a POSP 4x24 on a Saiga, beautiful scope. They are built like tanks, feature chevron reticles and rangefinders, come in all sizes and zooms, and illuminate as well.
