Kimber Grand Raptor Range Report...

Recommended Posts

Guest

I took my new prize to the BH today and put 200 rds thru.

First impressions...

this is the best kimber I have owned.

I have had some issues with custom shop models and the damn break in period.

I see alot of users talk about FTF, and stovepiping...I experienced none of that with this one.

My other raptor had about a 500 rd break in period, and it was not reliable during that period...after that smooth sailing.

This Grand Raptor is built so tight nothing can go wrong.... what a smooth shooter.

After making a slight adjustment to the sights, the holes went right where I put them...

I would say that the Grand Raptor is a fine pistol. I took it home and stripped the whole gun down, and it was very clean right from the factory.

My remwipes were barely dirty.

Too bad its so big, I could see how in a ccw situation in a crime ridden city like say....Savannah, GA a perp could literally shit his pants on the sight of this beast...

Best kimber Ive owned ever...

Wow. That is one hot gun. Good luck with it! You gotta make it to another Tuesday night bullethole meet with that gun!

Yeah! Mega, what was that 1911 I shoot last month at the Bullet Hole? Your 1911's are hot!

Very nice. I really like the serrations on that model. How aggressive are they on your hands?

The checkering as it fits into my mit perfectly...

The serrations make it so easy to cock it.
