Looking for info on Smith and Wesson "Russian Model"

From my brief bit of searching online I believe this to be a S&W Russian Model 3, as it says "Russian Model (something)" on the top of the barrel, but the character is tough to read. Can anyone tell me more about it and possibly what it might be worth in this condition?

im no expert but what ever you dont clean that gun, i saw a show "pawn stars" where a guy ruined a gun that was worth some serious change if he had left it alone, he took off the patina and lost most of the value in doing so.
