FWIW, they were going to go strictly commercial (CAI or somesuch), the CMP had nothing to do with this particular lot of firearms. Also rumour was that these were rackers at best and clapped out junk. Still, with a big lot like that there were probably a few finds in there. Plus there was a question of whether the Koreans were supposed to sell them or give them back, again the rumor milll had these as stuff the Koreans paid for, rather than MAP rifles.
