Too Little, Too Late IMO..of course it would be interesting to see how it would be "Backwards Compatible' with 5.56 uppers when because of the magwell size, the Lower is LONGER than a standard.

AR10 is a broad-stroke term (like AR15) that describes AR-variants chambered in .308-- so I can understand why you would say that. But is the Colt CM901 an AR10? No, not really; just like how there are technically a couple dozens types of AR-varieties, and people will call them "AR15," "M4, and "M16" anyway.

The easiest way I can think of to explain this is: All 4X4's are not Jeeps. Jeep is a brand name. AR10 is a Brand name/Trademark of Armalite. So understandably Armalite gets bent out of shape by the wide use of AR10 to explain all AR pattern 308 rifles. For example the KIA Sportage driver that says his Jeep died on the trail over a small bump....
