JackDaWack 2,895 Posted May 14, 2011 I actually do understand the issue with the eotechs and the battery connectors, that seemed to be an issue on older models. While i also see your point about the battery life, the eotechs use laser which none else do.
Shane45 807 Posted May 14, 2011 Vlad, your right and its how I found out I do. Way back in the day I bought an M2 and it was a shotgun pattern. I was chatting with an optical engineer complaining I got a bum aimpoint and he told me to rotate the aimpoint and see if the shotgun pattern turned with the optic, if it did, the optic was bad, if it didnt..... go to the eye dr. Sooooo after the eye dr. gave me my new peepers it was a dot But the Eo is still grainy even with my glasses.
JackDaWack 2,895 Posted May 15, 2011 The eotechs are supposed to be granular because of the laser, although it should be on a low enough setting u dont notice it.
tony357 386 Posted May 15, 2011 I put a cheap scope on mine to play with and ended up liking it. can be used on all my rifles but will leave it for the AR15.. leapers compact swat scope..lunker spotted me to sight in the scope at ft dix at 150 yds, later i went back and zeroed in at 200 yds.. scope is very clear and all functions worked great. i was very suprised to say the least this is a great scope for a plinker.. This is a 30mm scope and comes with the rings. http://www.opticsplanet.net/leapers-utg-30mm-swat-3-12x44mm-compact-ao-mil-dot-rgb-ez-tap-riflescope-scp3-um3124a.html
