What's the big deal with auto knives anyway. It's a convenience thing. I just don't get it.

A good assisted-opener will have the same effect. Or, even my regular folder can easily be opened with JUST my hand. Could bi-armed people carry a switchblade, and say that the reason is "if one arm becomes disabled in an emergency"? Honestly, I think it's one hell of an argument.

Agreed. I have a couple that will open every time, from any position, with a simple push of the lever just as easilly as a true switchblade.

 

And, yes, full auto guns are already legal in Maine, just like almost all other states.
