9mm reloads using N320, 231 and Berry's BHFP 124gr bullets

I finally got some N320 and 231 from TSM Casing and was able to put my first batch to the test. I compared these to my first pet load using 4.9gr Unique under 115 FMJ at 1.155 OAL.

New loads were:

1. 4.1gr 231 under Berry's 124gr BHFP at 1.060 OAL

2. 3.8gr N320 under Berry's 124gr BHFP at 1.060 OAL

 

In comparison to my original load these were lighter and easier to shoot. I would say that the N320 was the least snappy of the 2. The only issue was a couple of FTLs with the Berry's FP getting wedged into the roof of the chamber.

 

Overall I am very happy with the new loads. (I used the N320 load to qualify for membership at my pistol club and made the grade
