Pre-Reading for Reloading Instruction.

Recommended Posts

I've been working on the outline for the reloading workshop Maks has been gracious enough to lend his office to.

In an effort to minimize the time and for the fact I don't know the baseline knowledge of the participants, I'll be posting links on this topic to give some basic firearms theory. This way you'll know why we do what we do.

So keep your eyes open.

Thanks Frank, this sounds like something that will be a benefit to new and well as people with experience when it's all said and done. Wish I could lend a hand with this, but being new to reloading, I'll be taking advantage of all the knowledge of the members here and hope to pay it back to others in time.

What is headspace. http://www.recguns.com/Sources/VIIF1.html

You need to know this because you will be restoring brass casings to their original demensions thus compatable with the chamber of your firearm.

Here's another headspace article with some cutaway pics. http://www.cruffler.com/trivia-October99.html
