anyone get or have a mossberg 500 cruiser, the JIC Tube?

Love the shotgun, but she kicks like a mule.

Factory pistol grip is inadequate.

Had to upgrade to a folding stock.

There are better pistol grips on the market. I'd recommend one of them before you install a cheapo folding stock.

i have the JIC cruiser (the black one, not the gray mariner). I changed the grip to a knoxxx recoil reducing grip. It is fine for shooting regular loads, but it still stings with magnum loads.

especially the 3 inch magnum loads, right

The stock cost half of what the shotgun cost.

Where did you get "cheapo" from exactly.

You know what they say about assumptions...

I wasn't trying to be disrespectful. It's just most folding stocks on shotguns are cheapo's.

After trying about half-dozen different stocks, and pistol grips, I was tired of either the cheapness of the products, or the pain in my wrist.

Finally bit the bullet and purchased a Mako Tactical Folding stock:

Nice piece of gear.

Pistol grip is almost as good as the Hogue. I'd say 90% as good.

Folding stock is ROCK solid. Not that I would want to, but I bet I could bash a standard residential door with the thing.

Has a nice rubber buttpad, and adjustable cheekweld as well.

Lightweight, QD sling mount holes on Left and Right side (not shown in pics, must be new model)

Pistol grip has built-in compartment.

Expensive tho...

Seems cool, and it's expensive. Maybe too expensive. If I were you, I'd stick with a standard stock or a standard pistol grip.
