Hello,

I have been noticing a lot more robberies around my neighborhood so I thought it might be a good idea to get a home security system. I have heard both positive and negative things about them. Does anyone know any good motitoring companies and one that is not to expensive? Thank you for your help!

Cellular backup, entry delay set to 10seconds with motion on ALL floors. Also cameras in all important places that email pics of motion. About as good as you can do.

DIY with the GE Simon XT, the cheapest monitoring I've seen is for these type of DIY systems and it's $11 a month.

Just as important is your outside lighting security/motion ,also good door locks.
