How to carry your edc/prep items discreetly.

Just a quick question / request for input here.

 

Do you keep a SHTF bag ready to go?

 

Im wondering what types of bags people use. I've heard some us regular looking backpacks as to not "advertise" that they are carrying prep stuff.

 

Others use military surplus or tactical looking bags.

 

What's your preference?

I would go with something discreet. Mine is plain black and looks like a tool bag. I think camo,green or tan might attract the wrong attention from both sides of the law.

Old fashioned black leather travel bag, i.e. 2'x1'x1'. Same as my outdoor range bag

 

Keep a portable welder and plenty of stock lying around so you can fortify your truck quickly.

 

Don't forget to bury 55 gallon fuel and water drums in your backyard. Sometimes you want to stay put.

My emergency bag/B.O.B is od green, if I ever need it for an emergency idgaf what color it is. I want it to have everything I think I may need for such a day.
