Red or green dot with flashlight combo, what do you guys use?

I have an m&p 40 with the 3 slot picattany rail, I am looking for a red or green dot with flashlight combo. I want it as compact as possible.

 

What do you guys use or recommend?

I use a red Crimson Trace Lasergrip on my G21 and a handheld Streamlight ProTac 2L. I prefer not to point my weapon at the target to identify them.

Throw a tlr-1s on and forget about the laser. There not meant to be used at the same time, good luck searching for a dot in a flashlights flood pattern. You can take a look at the TRL line from stream light, there all good weapons systems.

Surefire X400 is a nice combo unit weapon light and laser.

TLR-4. Really bright flash light and a pretty nice laser in a light weight package.

I have the Viridian C5L and X5L gen 2. Green dot and light, you can see photos on my other posts. A number of people find the green laser dot easier to see. However to be honest while I have used the light and can see the value of it I find having alaser dot more of a gimmick than something I would really use.

 

On a GFH low light class the laser made it very obvious as to where I was located. Not ideal!

Cool, thanks. I was really looking into Viridiian too. That light and green laser combo was the one that made me ask that question, My friend had one on his glock 22. It was pretty compact too.
