So I know this is not a gun issue let alone a Jersey thing, but this is a great place to vent. One of the biggest gun control advocates lost his head up his a$$ again! This moron is so worried about the New York marathon that he was stretching resources to prep for the race that he was so determined not to cancell because he was so worried about the runners, and people who trained for the race. What about the people's lives that where devastated by Sandy! Their homes that have been totally destroyed. What about these people that have no place to call home anymore. I'm sure they could use the resources alot better than some runners who trained all year. But Bloomberg really doesn't seem to think that thy're lives are worth more than the New York Marathon. This just goes to show you where this mans priorities lye.

Bloomberg should tell all those runners to run down to the jersey shore, long island , hoboken, and all the places affected by the storm and donate there time to help.... all that water, personal, police and resources for a race!?! It goes to show how out of touch these rich politicians are, nice and warm and comfy while people suffer... not cool.

I think the runners could have diverted to Staten Island to drink cups of water and spit on the residents in symbolic solidarity with Michael Bloomberg.

 

Finally someone came to their sense and told him to stuff his marathon up his elistist detached ASS.
