Has anyone seen any 10/22 takedowns for sale out there?

Cabela's had them for $249 on Black Friday. I have not seen them instock or on sale since... Bud's got one in last Wednesday and promptly sold it for $349.

Bangers had a couple blue ones a few weeks ago . Team USA models I think they were .

Not only seen them but have one sitting under the xmas tree which I get to open tonight. Real sweet rifle. Easy to put together and take apart and keeps its zero. I choose this over an AR15 because it will serve 90% of my needs and I figure with so many guys with AR's that have never trained for combat or fired a shot in anger, it would be a simple task for an old combat vet like me to get one of theirs using my .22.

There were two in my area a couple of weeks ago; a blue one in one local gun shop and a black one in another local sports store.

I called about 5-6 different Dicks... found one with one and picked it up i think it was the deptford nj one.. Still haven't shot it... but its pretty sweet!!

Is it small enough to fit in a medium size range bag? I think it would be cool to have a 22 rifle with you

and not have to have a separate rifle case.

It probably could I don't have a medium range bag but it's a really compact design that's even more compact when taken down
