Got a tip about some Federal 5.56 ammo 400 rounds for 225. Is this a god deal considering today's market?

thats why i said its ok. under 50 cents is good right now and i would buy under 50. this price slightly over but if you have no ammo it is a good deals if its in stock.

The last Federal .556 I purchased was .30 per round for XM193. Its good brass to reload since it is Lake City brass. Cheyanne mountain outfitters in Robbinsville was selling it for 9.99 for 20 rounds (just under .50!) a few days ago. I am almost sure they would not have it now though.

Roll your own, thats how I can still afford to shoot.

If you have a Dick's near you, check when their trucks come in. I've been gettin Independence 5.56 for 8.99/20 only drawback is 6 boxes at a time limit.
