woodentoe 14 Posted February 18, 2013 Has anyone else noticed the proliferation of an article lambasting the proposed AWB for excluding the ruger mini14? An FBI agent who survived the Miami shoot out is quoted with his outrage. What gives?
SafetyHit 1 Posted February 18, 2013 Because it is a magazine fed weapon which has the same capabilities as the folding stock variant. The same stupid logic was used to screw us here, and while I certainly don't agree with this man at least he clarifies the absurdity.
PeteF 1,044 Posted February 18, 2013 Because the gun bannets are a bunch of idiots. The mini 14 doesn't look "evil" but has similar performance to an AR. So when people let them know how stupid they seem for trying a ban on looks, they fallback to it must be evil too. Just watch their heads explode when they find out that a 223 is one of the LEAST powerful chamberins for a rifle.

Damjan 73 Posted February 18, 2013 Ruger does have past history of compliance with the Anti`s.........so when a Mini 14 doesnt get included and it created a lot of storms back in the day the result is How Dare you not Ban the Mini http://www.thegunzone.com/rkba/papabill.html

Porthole 15 Posted February 18, 2013 Interesting story about Ruger. If all true that would prevent me from ever buying another Ruger product. And I was really looking forward to a 308 Scout

dtown223 12 Posted March 9, 2013 I'm pretty sure a liberal politician was watching reruns of "the A-Team" then again, those guys never actually killed anyone with their Mini's
