Effectiveness of new proposed Bills

Recommended Posts

Lets see how effective those new bills would be in this situation:

Man accused of robbing Mount Holly store and having stolen gun with illegal bullets

A Camden man has been accused of robbing a store in Mount Holly and having a stolen handgun with hollow-point bullets.

Officers were called to the area on a report of a fight and found a group of men standing around arguing outside the store. Zambrana started to walk away from the crowd and tossed a 9mm handgun into the bushes, which officers were able to recover, police said. They took him into custody and later learned that he tried to rob the store moments earlier, according to police.

It was not clear Wednesday if the gun was used in the robbery.

The recovered handgun was reported stolen out of Philadelphia and contained a high-capacity magazine with hollow-point ammunition, investigators said.

A Burlington County assistant prosecutor said in court that Zambrana had been arrested several times in Puerto Rico on weapons charges, but information about the dispositions was not available.

We already know none of the bills are going to work without full firearms confiscation. Even then, they would have to call the Guard in to go into every city and county to round up as many firearms as possible to make anything work.

The problem we know is that the people making the bills either don't know or don't care.
