NorthJersey 1 Posted March 2, 2013 FYI, the ATI Omni lower weighs 4.9 oz, stripped. I was unable to find any weight data on the web, so I thought this information might be helpful to those of you who purchased when Palmetto was running its deals. RUTGERS95 890 Posted March 6, 2013 I just put one of these together and like it. Although I had to dremmel one of the holes a little wider, I'm happy
Dr Bocci 0 Posted March 7, 2013 I am waiting for nics so i can pick it up. I'm thinking of getting some round files instead of a dremmel.
RUTGERS95 890 Posted March 7, 2013 they really are not bad but would like to see some tests of durability compared to aluminum ones
blksheep 466 Posted March 7, 2013 If you look on youtube there are durability tests for the New Frontier lowers and the look promising.
MidwestPX 172 Posted March 10, 2013 If you look on youtube there are durability tests for the New Frontier lowers and the look promising. I wouldn't compare the NFA lowers to the ATIs the way you could compare an Aero forged lower and a Spike's forged lower. I was told the ATIs use a different polymer and also have some design differences.
Johnk-NJ 4 Posted March 25, 2013 Everything I read NFA lower is pretty good. I have seen one in person and I like the quality. I am picking one up this week.
