I already have a Hornady LNL AP but I got one of these for crimping my rounds.

 

It's a good beginner's press for those with a limited budget.

That's a great price, especially in these crazy times.

 

For those new to reloading, it would work fine for any pistol cartridge.*   May have some problems with frame flex when resizing larger rifle cartridges--that's the nature of a C-frame press.  But as Ray pointed out, it would have other uses if you later upgrade.

 

*It should be noted that pistol shooters are generally the first to wish they'd bought a progressive press in the first place...
