Started a free website for Sports Teams

Hey guys... I wanted your opinion on this.  I recently started a new website that allows sports teams to sign up and have a free web page for their sports team.  It is open to football, shooting, hockey, baseball, and all other sports.

 

I haven't rolled it out to everyone yet, but I wanted the good folks of NJ to check it out and kind of beta test it for me (I am in NJ). 

 

 

There is a free option and a premium option.

Interesting..  I guess I could use it for my daughter's soccer team, tho the town has a site for the rec teams showing the schedule and stuff.  I think this is great for traveling teams or something like that.. when there is noone but the coaches organizing...

 

I think its a good idea and it could work out well for you.  I see some advertising on it, I would suggest leaving that out for now until you get established.  SOmetimes that is a bit of a turn off for people, esp when its in the middle of content on a brand new site.

This has been done. I used it many years ago when I was coaching roller hockey. I don't remember the site I used but this concept has been around from a long time.

I know the concept has been around... I was shopping around for my son's team.  Everything costs money or didn't offer enough features for the free versions... that's why this started.
