checko 180 Posted October 15, 2013 Where does one go to find these?
1563621 388 Posted October 15, 2013 A few sites have them often, PRE98, gunboards, 1911 sites. Prepare to pay. I have been collecting for years.
checko 180 Posted October 15, 2013 WWII era 1911 and M1 are the only 2 "collector" pieces I'd ever want.
1563621 388 Posted October 15, 2013 The Sistemas are a lower priced Colt.
bhunted 887 Posted October 15, 2013 Dave's being a dick... (just kidding man- lol)...He does this at least once a year just to make us drool over his collections. Stop it Dave or you're out of my will!
1563621 388 Posted October 15, 2013 I got out of the custom 1911s a few years ago. They always make new Baers, Wilsons, and NHs. But a Springfield Armory from 1915, that you know most likely saw WW1 and maybe more. Now that is special! Or the REM UMCs from 1917. There were 21000 made. 96 years ago they were stopped. How many are left? Just a little rant, forgot my meds!
