NickC 23 Posted November 7, 2013 Just to clarify: I'm referring to the scores for the November 2009 match. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
sirloin16oz 0 Posted November 9, 2013 Are you guys shooting knockdown tomorrow? Just wondering
AdamM 42 Posted November 9, 2013 I'm in. Dress WARM. Did you get the duck tail for your Glock yet?
sirloin16oz 0 Posted November 9, 2013 Cool beans. Have fun and good luck. Unfortunately, I have stuff to do tomorrow. Not yet. Keen to see that bush tail soon.
sirloin16oz 0 Posted November 9, 2013 Funny you said duck. Someone told me to use duck tape to keep myself from getting shredded. Will try that next Sunday in case i havent had a chance to play with the beaver
AdamM 42 Posted November 9, 2013 Oh yeah, beaver tail. I'm thinking of what they used to put on the early 1970's Porsche 911 RSR's (they called them Duck tails). LOL
sirloin16oz 0 Posted November 10, 2013 Are you guys doing the scores for yesterdays knockdown match? If so, youll probably finish scoring it before last weeks match, in which case perhaps you can email a copy to the two Johns who run World Class steel at ob with a nice little note (eg "this is how you get scores done, old man!" )
Howard 538 Posted November 14, 2013 Is it true that the only one that has access to those scores is The NSA????
alec.mc 180 Posted November 14, 2013 $10 says the scores were done a week and half ago, but arent being posted because you guys are a bunch of cry babies.
sirloin16oz 0 Posted November 14, 2013 I actually dont mind that that was their last match of the year, as I've decided not to shoot that match anymore. It's bad enough that they're taking forever to do something that should take a couple of hours to so, but they wont even reply to folks asking for an eta/et completion. That's just bad form, and I dont need to support a match that that's inconsiderate, especially as there are more than enough matches around to shoot. Heavyopp 167 Posted November 14, 2013 Jet -- It's just for fun -- no prizes -- You're the only one you'll hurt by not shooting -- Miss a fun day with good people If your score matters that much to you why don't you take a picture of your sheet at the end of the day and figure it out yourself -- lots of guys do this
sirloin16oz 0 Posted November 14, 2013 Hey Jeremy. I hear what youre saying. Im just the kind of guy who, if I don't see myself improving, I lose interest, so finding out whether I'm bridging the gap with other folks is important to me. Indeed, if I reach the point that Im not getting better, I'll switch to something else where I have space to grow and get better. I'll have fun shooting the other two steel matches as well, but I'll also find out about my times as soon as in other matches, so I'll probably do that unless the guys who run this steel match start being more responsive like all the other MDs
M4BGRINGO 139 Posted November 14, 2013 No more Knockdown for the year at OBRPC? That would be a true bummer.
sirloin16oz 0 Posted November 14, 2013 Dunno about that. I was referring to the first-Sunday static steel match
Howard 538 Posted November 14, 2013 No it continues through the winter, weather conditions permitting. The first weekend static is what moves indoors with .22LR only.
sirloin16oz 0 Posted November 18, 2013 Thank you Adam et al for getting the scores out so quickly. You guys rock.
sirloin16oz 0 Posted November 21, 2013 I emailed John P 20 minutes ago and offered to do the scores if he mailed them to me, as the November 3 scores still weren't up as of 21 minutes ago. Perfect timing I guess, as the November 3 scores are up as of right now, in case some of you wanted to check them out: http://www.worldclasssteel.org/dnn/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=CE0TuiTSX3M%3d&tabid=107&mid=

alec.mc 180 Posted November 22, 2013 Thanks Jet, I was anxious to see these scores. I remember having a pretty good run on "Round About" and nailed out my personal best of 11.48. see you at the next one
sirloin16oz 0 Posted November 22, 2013 Awesome. You smoked every stage over the past two matches. Why don't you shoot pistol and give Al and Jimmy a run for their money? Your pistol times should be even faster, as you won't have to deal with a DA trigger for every shot.

Nahhh, Revolver is my gig and i'm sticking with it ( cough glocks are boring ) plus, it's much more gratifying beating all you bottom feeders with a * antiquated useless paper weight *
sirloin16oz 0 Posted November 23, 2013 Gotcha. BTW, have you guys thought about getting classified in steel? It's only around $10 more per year to join SCSA if you're already a USPSA member.

sirloin16oz 0 Posted November 23, 2013 How do you do that? I joined SCSA a few months ago and write my SCSA # on the forms, but I don't have any scores on the steelchallenge.com website. Also, which gets counted for SCSA classification purposes? World Class Steel or Read Deal Steel scores? Thanks.

IF you fill out the separate classifier sheet after the match with the classifier stage scores, pay the dollar to submit it, and give the forms to either me , or dave z. RDS is running one or two classifier stages per match, these are the official stages .... round about, pendulam, 5 to go, smoke and hope, etc etc... sirloin16oz 0 Posted November 23, 2013 Ah ok. I totally wasn't even aware of the additional paperwork -- that explains it. Interesting. I was thinking that World Class Steel would be the one submitting scores, since I thought they only ran official SCSA stages. Is it possible to have my scores from the previous matches submitted? I can submit the paperwork to you/Dave via email and mail over a check. Thanks.

Additionally, you need to submit the time for each run, not just your total stage time.
