Njbanshee 9 Posted October 25, 2013 I just picked up a dehumidifier to protect my collection. I have everything in a small room with the door always closed. What do you guys leave your dehumidifier set at?
T Bill 649 Posted October 25, 2013 Relative Humidity set at 50% should be fine.

SJ ED 0 Posted October 26, 2013 I've been running mine at 60% for the last few years with excellent success. I read that Cabela's tries for 65-70% in their gun rooms. You don't want it too dry. Ed.
BD104X 1 Posted October 26, 2013 Just curious, why not too dry? I know that it's not good for humans (dried out nasal passages and stuff) but I would think for a designated gun room the drier the better, no?
