Finally got my brownells back order

I just got the shipping notice for my 8lbs of CFE223 and none to soon. I'm using VV zn140 and I only have 1.5 lbs left.

 

I've been waiting for 8 months.

Yes and it was a partial fill. I had a bunch of primers on that I don't need anymore so I canceled those. I almost left it open figuring if it got filled someone on here would want them but who knows when that would get done.

 

I'm excited about because of the amount of load data available and the positive reviews on this powder. It also cost me considerably less than the N140, which was very good, but no better than H335 that I normally used.

 

I'm excited to cook up some new loads when it arrives.

CFE223 works really good in an AR.  I have been using it for about a year now.  It is a real fine ball powder that meters really good.  It looks almost just like win 748 but it smells different.  You can work up a load to a pretty high velocity and not see any signs of overpressure.  Once you push it too far you will see severe pressure warning signs (primers fall out,  Primers cratered and flowed out of pocket, ejector stamped into head of case) come on really fast, within .2gn difference fast.
