DPMS muzzle brake

Recommended Posts

Another member here has a couple of those brakes, and 'the front fell off'. Apparently, that is an A2 flash suppressor with a washer welded on the end. His weld failed, making it into an A2 flash suppressor again. As we all know, that's bad news in NJ.

He had to remove and replace the brake, a pain in the ass.

I use a similar brake on mine that is machined as one piece.

I have been very pleased with these brakes. They control the muzzle well, without being obnoxiously loud.

Yup thats me. The end of it blew off on two of my ar's so far Dpms is sending me replacements. I think the problem was with the batch. The other batch i got from them havent had any problems. I can sell you them for 25$ each. The good ones. Not the bad ones. And yes they are loud. But they all are. I ve switched to pws 556 and troy linear comps. Two to three times the price but. Live and learn.
