azmaveth 1 Posted May 5, 2015 I tried to search, but didn't find anything directly related. My search-fu is weak. So, here's my question... Can I go down to the UPS hub and send a long gun via UPS to an out of state FFL?
RecessedFilter 222 Posted May 5, 2015 I ship exclusively through USPS. Most long guns depending on weight and length are around $20-25 to ship excluding any other additional things. It never fails that UPS and Fedex are always so much more money than USPS. I'd also ask the buyer if they want you to apply insurance and delivery confirmation/tracking because in most cases they do. T Bill 649 Posted May 5, 2015 If the recieving FFL is willing to accept it. Some do and some don't. Check with them first. Most that do, will usually require a copy of your DL. They have to write the firearm into their books upon reciept.
PK90 3,570 Posted May 5, 2015 Some carriers want to see a copy of the receiving dealers license. If the FFL will not give you a copy, I suggest printing the FFLeZCheck to show them that they are a dealer.
ogfarmer 138 Posted May 5, 2015 or use this for the service and just drop off at hub http://www.shipmygun.com/go/ takes the guess work out of it.

azmaveth 1 Posted May 6, 2015 Thank you all for the advice. Yes, the FFL in question will accept from an individual with a copy of my DL. So I can just drop this off at a UPS hub and have it shipped to them, sounds good.
