302w 83 Posted September 4, 2015 I have a 9mm shield for CCW purposes. I'm new to holster shopping and I am looking for suggestions. I know there are a zillion options and I'm probably going to rotate through a half dozen, but please offer your best suggestions. I'm interested in a non-kydex pancake, and something IWB but any suggestions are welcome. I'm 5'11" and about 175lbs FWIW. I also need to belt shop as well. MidwestPX 172 Posted September 4, 2015 When I need deeper concealment than my standard G19/VG2, the Shield comes out in an Alessi APX. The APX isn't cheap and the lead time is long but it's a fantastic holster for the platform. I would recommend using it with a belt however I know people who run them without. My sister carries her Shield in an APX when she's wearing a skirt and has no problem drawing without a belt due to the aggressive hook/claw that the APX uses. JT Custom Guns 958 Posted September 4, 2015 Holsters are like pizza - so many to choose from, and you may not like what another swears by......... Personally I like McCabes Custom holsters, and I carry a 9 Shield as well. Not cheap, but excellent quality - here is a link: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.167567236648530.42508.167565013315419&type=3 Home Page: http://mccabescustomleather.com/?page=shield

PD2K 115 Posted September 5, 2015 Since I'm a tax paying citizen of NJ, I am not allowed to use a holster in it's properly intended fashion
