Anyone here a Scanner Guru

Hey guys. I have a Uniden BCD396XT handheld scanner. I set this thing up years ago when I first got it. I used Radio Reference to set it up, but always had trouble hearing NJSP dispatch, although I could hear their patrol cars. I was able to hear some Township PD Dispatch though. Anyway, I just shook the dust off of it, and realized that none of the frequencies are in it anymore. It's been so long since I set this thing up, that I have no idea how to do it again. Also, I no longer have a subscription to Radio Reference. My question is, is there anyone here that has knowledge about this scanner? If so, would you be willing to meet and walk me through setting this thing up? I'd be willing to pay you for your time and knowledge. TIA.
