Im looking at getting one or 2. I was told by a local dealer that you can buy one ,but you can't legally complete the milling in nj. Is there any truth to this? I can't find any gun laws stating this.
Looking into purchasing a new shotgun to use for clay/turkey/deer. I'm a bit traditional when it comes to shotguns, and like a classic, no frills, simple pump action. I'm loyal as of now to Mossberg so keeping my options within. Had my eye on a new 500 field all ourpose/ field deer combo. But also caught my eye is the 835 ulti mag 26 inch in MO Bottomland.
My question is related to finish, never owned a camo shotgun. Are they painted? How does the camo finish hold up? Any more corrosion resistant compared to blued like the 500?
