Sniper 6,372 Posted October 26, 2020 This has been in the works for the last year or two, before the latest crazy started. They broke the company up into 4 pieces. I believe PSA recently bought the ammo line. A new company will start making firearms when the dust settles.

Americans have been buying up guns like crazy lately and they're going to shut down a factory? The Freedom Group/Cerberus bought a bunch of gun manufacturers and drove them into the ground. The break up is a good thing, not the closing of a factory and loss of jobs. NY state doesn't deserve the privilege of manufacturing guns.

Remington ruined Marlin and now I hope that Ruger builds Marlin's like they should be built.
