Uhhhh…. Guys… come here real quick… You’re not going to believe this but…. That’s exactly what you’re supposed to do with the dot. It’s a target focused sighting system - just like a red dot on a rifle. The whole benefit of the system is you now have only one focal plane - the target - you know where your eyes are going to be anyway in a DPF situation - locked on the threat. As opposed to iron sights where you have 3 focal planes to cycle through as your eyes sprint from the target, to the rear sight, to the front sight and repeat ad-naseum. As to co-witness - you should be able to see your irons through the window, but the dot isn’t necessarily going to be exactly on your front sight if you get a sight picture through your irons. That’s OK. DO NOT adjust the dot so your dot sits on top of or bisects your front sight. Your dot should be zeroed separately from your irons. You should not be lining up your irons and your dot together for your sight picture. Pretend your irons aren’t there.

WTS S&W M&P 15 Sport II chambered in 5.56. Less than 300 rounds through it. The Holosun red dot is less than a month old. The Holosun box with manual and parts are included. I am also including three 10-round magazines (one is metal and came with the rifle, the other two are P-mags). The only alterations that have been made are a Magpul handguard and a vertical fore grip. I am looking for $700 plus the FFL transfer fee. I am located in Union County. You must have a valid FID card that matches your drivers license. The first person to post "I'll take it" wins the sale.

you need to resize your images. Pick the smallest setting as that setting is for email, pics, etc. that will do the trick

You should have to work to make the dot be on your front sight. By that I mean you should have to raise the pistol, or lower your head, or angle the slide, or somehow alter your shooting position to get everything to line up. In a normal presentation, the dot should be centered in your window. Your irons should be at the bottom 1/3 (or lower). If your irons take up 1/2 your window, you have the wrong set of irons and you are defeating the purpose of having the dot in the first place. Your dot should float above your front sight, but if you line up your irons, it should be *near* your front sight tip with a standard iron sight sight picture.

The biathlon events have concluded at the 2022 Winter Olympics. In the Men's 4 x 7.5 km relay, Norway, France, and ROC took the gold, silver, and bronze, respectively. The ESPN website didn't list order of finish for teams outside of the top 8, so I'm not sure where the US team finished. In the Women's 4 x 6 km relay, Sweden, ROC, and Germany, in that order, won the medals. The US team of Reid, Dunklee, Egan, and Irwin finished 11th. In the Men's 15 km mass start event, Johannes Bo from Norway won another gold, Martin Ponsiluoma from Sweden silver, and Vetle Christiansen of Norway, bronze. The US team apparently failed to qualify anyone for the field of 30. In the Women's 12.5 km mass start event, Justine Braisaz-Bouchet from France took gold, Tiril Eckhoff of Norway silver, and Matte Roeisland of Norway bronze. America's Deedra Irwin finished 23rd, not quite 3-1/2 minutes back. Results by country and by athlete are up on the Wikipedia page. TWO Norwegians won 5 medals each in the event, and Norway with 14 medals total doubled the count of second-place France. The US didn't medal; as I noted above, it's never been a strong event for us. Biathlon results Now, it's on to the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, and the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina-D'Ampezzo, Italy. I sincerely hope the political bullshit will be significantly dialed back by then. It's been a terrible distraction at these games. The athletes and the fans deserve better.

The laser aids can save you time at the range getting new optics sighted in. Drop the laser in at home, find the longest spot where you can project the laser and still see it, adjust your optic to the laser. Then when you get to the range your optic should already be "on paper" and you can then focus on fine adjustments. Bore-mounted lasers are more accurate than cartridge lasers in my experience, but for many handguns there just isn't enough barrel length to use a bore mount. While lasers are reasonably good at representing where the center of your barrel is at a distance, they do not simulate all the factors that determine the actual flight path of the bullet, so that's why you usually need to follow up with actual firing to get zeroed in. If you go for the cheaper laser sighters (like from Amazon), be aware that they usually come with weak button batteries that crap out quickly, so get some "real" batteries to have as spares. Otherwise you may find the laser is fading out before you even get your initial adjustments done.

It makes no sense that an AP charging handle won't fit in an AP upper. Something has been manufactured out of spec. Call them. I have a couple of M5 uppers and the BCM charging handles fit fine, just for reference. If you want to cover shipping both ways I can send you a spare one I have so you can test to see if it is your CH or upper that is out of spec...or we can meet somewhere.
